END OF YEAR CLASSIC
September 10th – No Limit on Boats

In order to fish the classic a person must have fished at least 5 of all Tuesday nights.  The cost of the entrance fee on the classic is $25 + $5 for every Tuesday night missed, although an angler may have  a bye week in which they do not have to pay the additional fee.

Awards: Points are awarded toward the Angler of the year as follows:
1st – 5 points 2nd – 3 points, 3rd – 2 points. Other anglers will receive 1 point for a legal bass, measured from tail to closed mouth.

LIMITED TO 20-BOAT WEEKS
A new DNR rule states that a tournament with over 20 boats participating can not fish on the same lake every week. Changes have been implemented in order to stay within the rules.

The tournament for over 20 boats participating every other week has been registered with the DNR.  The following week the tournament will be limited to the first 20 boats.

Each boat shall draw a number when live well is checked. At 6:00pm boats shall take off in numeric order.

Please be good neighbors as you make way to your fishing area for the night.

Speed:  Okauchee Lake has a maximum speed of 40 mph from 8 am until sunset.  From Sunset until 8 am the maximum speed on the lake is 10 mph.  The speed of motor boats with 100 ft of a pier , raft, doc or buoyed restricted area is “Slow-no-wake”
The channel between the lake drive bridge & the main body of Okauchee Lake is always “Slow-No-wake”.

ANY BOAT GIVEN A TICKET FOR SPEEDING DURING THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

All anglers are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation!

20 BOAT LIMIT:
Since the DNR limit is on the number of boats and not the number of people fishing, we suggest on “Limited to 20 boats” weeks, multiple people fish out of each boat. This will allow more people to fish in the tournament as well as increase the night’s payout.

Running tally on registered boats will be found on this page as the day goes or you can call the shop to find out if there are available spots.
